    THANK YOU TO OUR INNAGURAL MOMS FOR SPENDING TIME WITH US THIS SUMMER!

    The 2026 dates were:

    1) Sunday - Monday June 21-22

    2) Tuesday - Wednesday June 23-24

    3) Wednesday-Thursday June 24-25

    4) Thursday - Friday August 6-7

    5) Friday - Saturday August 7-8 (This session will not be open to general registration, Mothers interested to this event from the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program at Boston Children’s Hospital will have a separate Registration Form).

    Participants who are staying the night will sleep in our beautifully refurbished cabins.

  • The Heart Moms Retreat will be for mothers who have a child younger than 16 years old who has, or may have a heart surgery or procedure, in alignment with our Mission and Non-Profit By-Laws.

    There has been tremendous interest in the Moms Retreat, which affirms our commitment to offering this program, and illuminates a huge need for community and connectedness. We are working with community partners to identify other resources for families seeking support and community who are not qualified for these events.

    In the meantime please check out the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Center at Boston Children’s Hospital which has curated a wonderful Community Resource Guide. There you can find events (virtual and in-person) and organizations to further connect with.

  • The retreat will be hosted at our beautiful camp property.

  • For simplicity, we are asking all participants to stay for the over-night portion of the event. If you have a unique circumstance please reach out to Jonathan at (413) 446-7000.

  • The Heart Moms Retreat is a chance for you to meet other heart moms and enjoy a full day and evening of camp fun.

    There will be group activities, ‘me time’, wonderful meals, and of course, a campfire!

  • Being the mom of a heart warrior is a one-of-a-kind experience. We want to create a space where you can come together and find comradery, joy, and support through camp fun.

  • Bring an overnight bag, bedding for a twin sized bed, your pillow, and a swim-suit if you’d like to swim.

    Our bunks have beautifully renovated bathrooms and air conditioning.

    All meals will be provided, including s’mores, (of course)!

  • The Moms Retreat is 100% free. Our gift to you.

    There will be an OPTIONAL $25.00 registration fee, as well as a link to donate to the camp if you’d like to. Our camp exists for you, your family, and kids who have survived heart surgeries and procedures thanks to the generous support of a trust established by Edward J. Madden, grants, and donors.

One-night, all-inclusive, experiences just for moms of children with CHD who have had or may have a heart surgery or procedure.

Our Heart Moms Retreats can support up to 16 moms at a time. If we have more moms interested than we can accommodate this year, we will utilize a Lottery for fairness.
